At the amusement park today, I had the kids halfway thru a line for a ride that broke down. As we were waiting for the 16 year old ride operator to repair the ride, we had the opportunity to eavesdrop.
In front of us opined a 14 year old girl who was apparently a “truther”, explaining to her chaperone how it was impossible for a plane to have hit the Pentagon.
Behind us, two couples were arguing about which was better: IHOP or Waffle House. Apparently IHOPs French Toast was the deciding factor.
The ride was reopened after about 10 minutes, and we shared a raft with the “truther” girl.
My gawd, I really love Oklahoma.
